This is an all brass, single cylinder, 2 cycle, gasoline engine. It has 1” bore and 1 1/8” stroke. Ignition is by battery, coil, and spark plug. It is 6 ½” tall. This unusual design was conceived when I saw a model steam engine that had a pear shaped frame and a pedestal base. I gave myself the challenge to build a gasoline engine with this configuration. When completed, I photographed it with a coke bottle for size reference. Friends then nicknamed this “The Bottle Engine.” The name stuck. The construction book is 8 ½” x 11” and has 22 pages, and spiral bound.
