The name comes from the 2 prominent brass posts that support the cylinder. Use your own inventiveness to use post of your own design. This engine requires more skill than Engine #4. A small lathe, a drill press, and a small milling capability are required. This little beauty is all made of bar stock. The bore is ¾”. It is 6 ½” tall. The plans are eight, 8 ½” x 11” pages. All drawings are full size.
